NO MAN’S LAND COLLECTION

I write this book because we must fight against the colonization of the Americas – daily.

“I live in Germany and history has taught us that the offspring are not responsible for their parent’s actions but only if they actively fight against the privileges that were incurred with that history of oppression. Otherwise, as in the case with Mexico, it is active participation in continued colonization. It is hoped that this book may act as an appeal to the heirs of this long and bloody history to once and for all desist from maintaining the title active and to let it fade into history along with the grotesque chains and the seven indigenous strangled/severed heads that make up the iconographyof the coat of arms of Hernan Cortes”.MTA

No Man’s Land collection is a series of artist books curated by members of the Scientific Committee of No Man’s Land Foundation. The print run of each volume is of 987 copies. A number that is a clear reference to Fibonacci’s arithmetic sequence, related to the growth process in nature.
