August 10th 2017 – temporary installation
Train Station of Berchidda and Train Station of Oschiri (Sassari) , Italy
No Man’s City / Everybody’s Station, a site-specific intervention by Yona Friedman with Jean-Baptiste Decavèle moving from a place to another, embracing other events…
In this particular case: Locomotive, a concert by Raffaele Casarano and Marco Bardoscia for the Time in Jazz Festival.
Chances of exchanges for a public on the move.
Following Friedman’s theories, the act of building thus loses the connotations of appropriation of a space to acquire those of a method, capable of stimulating social self-regulation.
No Man’s City / Everybody’s Station is part of the triennial project Sentieri Contemporanei (Contemporary Paths) promoted by Fondazione di Sardegna with the Voluntary Contemporary Art Association Zerynthia and Decamaster / Master Degree in Law and Economics for Culture and Art of the University of Sassari, in collaboration with the Fondazione META, patrocinated by the No Man’s Land Foundation.
